About me

I have over 10 years of experience working as a public school speech-language pathologist. I deeply understands IEP law, including eligibility criteria, parent rights, and the legal processes that guide special education services.

Having worked in the public schools, I have also experience treating a wide range of speech and language needs, including: articulation and phonological disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, receptive and expressive language disorders, stuttering, social language, autism and neurodiverse communication needs, bilingual language development and differences, and early intervention.

I started Bishop Speech Therapy because I saw a need for personalized private practice speech therapy services in my community. My goal is to provide detailed and individualized support for all of my clients with pride and dedication. I can also offer valuable resources, guidance, and consultation to help families meet the communication needs of their children. I believe in a child and family centered approach that celebrates meaningful and joyful progress.
